After the publication in the local newspaper, our local tv station called me, to ask if I was interested in making a small report for their show “Hallo Antwerpen”. One day later I saw myself on their news show and I think the full report is coming tomorrow.

To be honest, it’s a lot off fun to work with the camera and make the report. But I hate to see myself on the screen and hear myself speak afterwards! So I’m not going to watch it one more time, you have to do it yourself if you want to see it! I’m not sure if people outside Belgium can see it, let me know!

But if you’re from Belgium or dutch, you can watch the video here: Atv.be – Jonge digitale kunstenaar kent succes

Last Friday I had the pleasure to be interviewed by our local newspaper, Het Nieuwsblad. We talked about how I started, my goals and how I managed to get there. It was a true pleasure! This morning the article was published and I’m very pleased with what they’ve written down about me! For all the dutch speaking creatives, reading this post. You can find the article on the web here: Het Nieuwsblad – Jonge Bram maakt digitale droom waar

A sincere thank you to Het Nieuwblad and Nicole for giving me this lovely opportunity! It’s the first time I’ve been published in a local newspaper about my work!

Hi everyone! I quickly wanted to share some pictures from the Designers Against Child Slavery Exhibition in NYC. I want to thank the whole team and everyone who came and supported this event! Also everyone who supported the project online, thank you so much! Hopefully we can do this again every year! Here is a small recap from the event! Cheerz!

On October 1st, 2011, DACS, in partnership with The Blind Project, put on a live gallery exhibition to showcase the work of our DACS artists. All in all it was a great night, we had over 250 people show up and we raised over $15,000! On top of that the Red Bull Space offered to take some of the DACS work and represent us at Blooom 2011 in Cologne, Germany!

We are so thankful for the support everyone has shown us and we look forward to next year!

Feel free to appreciate the project on the Béhance network to spread the love! – Appreciate!

PS. I want to thank everyone who mailed me with all these kind words about the work! You have no idea what it means to me! Thank you so much!

Some people might know, some people forgot. But together with my Brother, Tim we run WallpaperArt.org! WallpaperArt is not just another random wallpaper library. Our goal is to select the most exclusive, the most special, the most incredible wallpapers you can possibly find online and at the same time bring the artist and the user closer together.

Our aim is to inform our readers about the latest Wallpaper trends and information about the artists behind the beautiful artwork. By providing interviews with the designers and a look behind the scene we try to bring the wallpaper scene to a new level.

And we’re very happy to present the new WallpaperArt.org website! First of all we hope you like the new visual experience on Wallpaper Art. The new Wallpaper Art gives a lot more attention to the wallpaper itself and provides a much easier and quicker browsing experience. We’re still thinking about a voting system. What do you think? All ideas are welcome. Now go surf around and grab yourself a new wallpaper!

People ask me how I started this, how I get to this point and how they can get to that point too. That point in life where you know what you want and know how to get there. And the only way to get there is simple. By hard work and following your heart. It sounds like a cliché, I get that. But still people forget this.

You have to study every day, you have to focus on your goals. Write them down, before you go to sleep remind yourself by repeating what you want in life. What you’re doing with your life and when you wake up. Do the same! After a while you KNOW what you’re doing and you know you can do it! Don’t listen to your friends when they say something is impossible. Don’t listen to your parents when they say you’re wasting your time. Prove them wrong!I believe, If you believe you can do something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve this! Said by the old man!

Sometimes you will fail, but that doesn’t mean you are a failure! You have to fail a couple of times before you do something right. You have to be fearless and after a couple mistakes, you will find the way! The way to succeed and get a tiny bit closer to your goal.

Hi everyone, it’s been a little bit quite last weeks but I have my personal reasons for that. I’m not going to say anything about it, because it’s simply not interesting! But none the less I have some updates for you! School started again, early mornings on the bus and school projects are back! I don’t have to explain I’m busy!

But I’m not going to complain, recently I have finished my second illustration for the new Sportsnet Magazine, Canada. Since I’m an athlete myself, working so close with this branch I’m so pleased and thankful. This made me realize I really want to be an Art Director one day for a sports magazine. Let’s see if I can succeed! For anyone who can grab this magazine, make sure you do! Great articles and artists are involved to really rock their first issues! I’ve also worked on an illustration for their second issue, so if your going to get this magazine, expect some more works from me popping up here and there.

In other news, last Saturday Designers against child slavery held their second exhibition, I can’t wait to share videos and photographs, but I will see what I can do. It feels amazing to be part off this project and I want to give a shout out to John Mark for his amazing work!

I have more exciting stuff coming up, but I can’t talk about it yet! So stay tuned and thanks for checking it out!
Have an awesome day everyone, I have to get back to my Marketing lesson.
